We really enjoyed our stay at Hemlock Inn last week. Comfortable bed, clean rooms, and we really enjoyed how easy it was to walk to shopping and dining. The log cabin decor was pretty and we look forward to staying again!
This is my new favorite place to stay in Blowing Rock! I have been visiting Blowing Rock for 40 years and I finally gave this inn a try. I stayed in one of the King suites which has a small kitchen and seating area. I highly recommend! The room was decorated beautifully and the bed was so comfortable! The kitchen had adorable teacups and a matching set of dinnerware. I loved the ambience of the electric fireplace mounted on the wall, and the bathtub even had molded armrests which I took advantage of! The entire suite had been immaculately cleaned as well. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay, and I will definitely be back!
Stayed this past weekend for a little weekend getaway. Checking in was just awesome. Straight up Mom and Popp place to stay. Upon arrival we were welcomed with kindness, friendliness and great advice on how to go about the day. Where to hike, eat and shop for what we were looking for. Location, location, location. Right by Main St tucked away from the noise and traffic. My only advice is try to stay on the top floor or in a room with no one above you. Someone was above us playing marbles and body slamming people till about 11 pm. All in all a great place and great owners. Highly recommend!!!!
Great location and a block from town. Our room was not large but very comfortable. It had a small fridge, microwave, and small coffee maker. This was a weekend getaway for us and 3 other couples and we all enjoyed our stay. There is a communal gazebo with a gas fire pit. We had the opportunity to meet other guests and even enjoyed it in the rain. Likely to make this an annual trip.
We love this place! Donna & Brian ate great hosts! They keep everything so clean and neat and the grounds are beautiful from sitting on the benches outside the room to hanging out by the fire pit in the gazebo. Convenient walk to everything, highly recommend!!
We loved our stay here. We came up for the weekend. The room was perfect! The bed was so comfy, great linens and pillows. We loved the small touches like wine glasses and good coffee mugs. There is a gas fire pit under the gazebo that was perfect for the cool evenings. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and shopping. We love visiting Blowing Rock, it is a place we come often. The Hemlock Inn is somewhere we will come back to and recommend to others!
The inn was easy to find right off the main rd in Blowing Rock & unlike most of the places in that area it actually had parking right outside the room door. It walking distance to all the shopping food and entertain in the area. The rooms weren't all stacked inside up and down a depressing hallway. Nope ur door opens up right outside in front of where you park so no carrying all ur luggage all around a hotel. It was decorated beautifully inside and out just perfect for the chilly autumn weather you could even sit in the rocking chair right outside ur room to enjoy the weather or smoke like i did. They had a large raised covered patio with a fire pit to enjoy. The room was decorated like a bedroom at a homey little farmhouse right down to the iron headboard on the Queen sized bed w/soft mattress & pretty quilt. It had a triple dresser with mirror on top like my bedroom at home. The room also included a medium sized tv, mini fridge, microwave & coffee maker. In the large well lit bathroom was a nice sized shower with rain showerhead of course the toilet sink & mirror. They even have little bottles of shampoo soap & lotion incase you forgot urs. The towels were large thick & soft! The price was pretty reasonable for the area 2. If im ever back in the area id be happy to stay there again!
Adorable hotel within a 4 minute walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Awesome location! Super clean and cozy, with a great shower. The owner was very nice and called to tell me they found my necklace when they were cleaning. Bonus points for that! The only con: our room was small with nowhere to hang clothes, but the bed was comfortable. We would definitely return. Blowing Rock has always been one of my favorite mountain towns. Beautiful!
